UK to Allow 3G Services over 2G Spectrum?

Coverage is always an issue for M2M application providers, so it’s interesting to read that the British government is considering allowing cell operators run third-generation (3G) services on frequencies reserved for 2G services.  If this goes ahead we’re likely to see better 3G coverage and lower costs.
