M2M Magzine has an interesting story yesterday suggesting that Siemens might be getting ready to sell its Wireless Modules business. From the article:
“Siemens AG is undergoing a restructuring effort that dates back more than a year. In October 2006, the wireless-modules division was moved from Siemens Com (Communications) to Siemens Automation and Drives (www.automation.siemens.com). The move followed the formation of Nokia Siemens Networks, www.nokiasiemensnetworks.com, Espoo, Finland, a joint venture with Nokia Corp., www.nokia.com, Espoo, Finland, for the telecom-equipment industry.”
