PC/104 Interface to Allen-Bradley Networks

DataLink Technologies Group, based in Bellingham Washington, manufacturers about 20 protocol converters, for fieldbus and Allen-Bradley devices.  We use a PC/104 bus architecture in our iGateway and therefore are always on the look-out for PC/104 I/O boards.  DataLink manufacturers the DL-PC/104 with the following key features:

  • Runs existing A-B (Allen Bradley) serial protocol at bus speeds
  • A-B network speeds of up to 230.4 Kbaud
  • Menu configuration; no jumpers to set
  • Firmware in flash EPROM; reduces dependence on PC or disk
  • 3-pin Phoenix screw terminal connector to A-B networks
  • Ability to configure internally and externally - 5-pin Phoenix enables configuration using an external computer
  • Card includes DH+ and RIO (Adapter) operation

The DataLink DL-PC/104 interface card provides inexpensive, high speed interface to Allen Bradley's Data Highway Plus or Remote I/O (Adapter).
