Most of the assets for which we provide our iServices™ are in very remote locations, so we’ve been using satellite communications almost exclusively. However, as I mentioned in a previous post, we’ve been testing a CDMA modem from CalAmp that looks like it will be very useful, so that led me to look for an service provider and I came across iMetrik.
From their web site:
“iMetrik's method of developing value is based upon technological vertical integration. The company offers its clients a complete wireless service delivery chain as a mobile virtual network aggregator (MVNA) to allow them to efficiently deploy M2M solutions.”
And: “By managing each of the steps of the value chain; by guiding private label resellers through the development of marketing acquisition programs and distribution channels to their target segments, iMetrik enables "M2M MVNO in a box," a one-stop-shop wireless solution allowing their clients to enter the M2M wireless space and de facto become MVNO's.”
